John's Mustang Page

I purchased this '66 coupe in Feb. '99 for $500. It was nothing but a shell,
but it was completely rust free. After 6 months of hard work plus a shitload
of Money, this is what it currently looks like. I've done every bit of the
work on this car with only the help of my teenaged son and daughter. The
only people I've trusted at all with it was Parrish Automotive for the
block/head work, and an "unnamed" company for the tranny rebuild (unnamed
'cause I'm not too happy with their work) which was modified for a floor
shift by American Mustang. OK Tires did the front alignment, and she's
never seen the inside of anyone's else's garage (and probably never will).

Even the paint was done in my garage. Yeah, we probably killed a few brain
cells, but probably not as many as all the beers did that were required
for the project ... I'm always amazed at how much beer it takes to rebuild a Mustang.
